In addition to being a Certified iRest® Instructor, Susan Blackwell Tate is a registered E-RYT Yoga Instructor. Other trainings or studies;


  • Studied with "Warriors At Ease" and is a 2A instructor. (www.warriorsatease.com)


  •   Interned/Assisted at WRAH (Walter Reed Army Hospital) in the SCP (Specialized Care Program) at DHCC (Deployment Health Clinical Center) SHARING Yoga and iRest® classes  with active duty military suffering for Post Traumatic Stress and  other wounds of war.  


  •  Observed and participated in iRest®  classes at Washington DC Veteran’s Hospital, WRIISC (War Related Illness & Injury Study Center) program for PTSD and/or Substance Abuse.


  •  Attended two, day long workshops of “Citizen Soldiers: The Invisible Wounds of War" with                                       Dr Michael Wm. Marks Ph.D., ABPP in Billings, MT and Helena, MT

 


WORK WITH SPECIAL OPERATIONS


      Susan has worked with " The Station Foundation", dedicated to the Special Operations community.

       www.theStationFoundation.org from it's inception in 2012 to 2019. She was Wellness Director from 2017.

Offered classes in relaxation techniques including yoga and iRest® at numerous Yellow Ribbon workshops


STAND DOWN - National Coalition for Homeless Veterans

Volunteered at several STAND DOWN events in Bozeman, MT
